How to Apply
A comprehensive step-by-step guide to applying for our founding Senior One (S.1) cohort at Light Academy Girls Secondary School.
Step 1: Submit Application
Complete our online Enrolment Form or visit our campus admissions office on Lweza-Kigo Road. Submit preliminary academic reports.
Step 2: Assessment & Interview
Attend a supportive assessment session in English, Mathematics, and Science, followed by a friendly chat with the student and parents.
Step 3: Offer & Enrolment
Receive your official letter of admission. Secure your daughter's spot by completing the registration fee and joining our orientation.
Required Documents
Please prepare the following documents when submitting your application or coming for assessment:
Academic Report Cards
Copies of the student's end-of-term academic reports for the past two consecutive academic years (e.g. P.6 & P.7 for S.1 applicants).
PLE / UNEB Slip or Mock Results
Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results slip or official mock examination results from the candidate's primary school.
Birth Certificate & Identification
A photocopy of the applicant's official birth certificate or National Identification (NIN) registration document.
Passport-Size Photographs
Two (2) recent colored passport-size photographs of the student in formal attire or current school uniform.
Medical & Health History Record
Completed student medical history form including immunization records and dietary/allergy disclosures.
Character Recommendation Letter
A letter of recommendation or conduct certificate from the Headteacher or Class Teacher of her previous school.
